Atribución: esta resolución del Secretariado Unificado de la IV Internacional se publicó sin firma en julio de 1977, y el texto impreso no nombra a su autor. Figura aquí como redactada por Ernest Mandel. Es la primera versión de la resolución de la Internacional sobre la democracia socialista, revisada para el Congreso Mundial de 1979, donde Mandel la presentó, y adoptada en su forma definitiva en 1985. La necrología de Mandel en Inprecor (n.º 394, septiembre de 1995, p. 17, nota 3) lo llama «el inspirador y principal redactor» de la resolución.
